I know I'm speaking to our nameless and hypothetical audience. You're good, dork.

We… have literally been doing this about the same time frame. I may, in fact, be older than you, whipper snapper.

You can't start like that, all you kids out there. You have to be a planning maniac for years before you learn how not to plan. :)

Same. Being able to tell your own story as a player and the game runner having to improvise their ass off to make it all work was like, the point.

It's an era that has passed. But there were also potentials that don't exist in other formats that were a shame to lose. All good though, the world moves on.

The fight, and the people we love and protect. The community we hold to. The sacrifices and the compromises we are willing to make. That's the story worth telling.

I stubbornly hold to the notion that I "got" what's great about the game in a way that the folks who actually write Werewolf do not.

It's self indulgent, but I'm quite comfortable with it.

Thank you. And yes, that was it. Just because the old world ended doesn't mean you don't have to put on your big boy pants and go to work in the morning. That's how every Apocalypse in history has ended, why should it be different now? The generation won their fight, the next must fight their own.

Like with most deaths, this one has moved slowly, then all at once.
