Worrying reports that British activists detained for trying to deliver aid to Gaza are being transferred to one of Israel's most notorious torture prisons.

Our government must speak out for the safety of these humanitarians and make it clear that no harm must come to them.

This child is literally skin and bones not because of famine, flood or other act of God but by the will of a Government and by the acquiescence of many others. We are only small voices but we must keep shouting, "It is wrong!". Regardless of politics no child should look like this is 2025.

I went to the funeral of an amazing Christian Lancashire lass today whose body lived to be 98, but whose mind was slowly taken by demtia over 10 years. Her grandson read this beautiful poem and it touched me so deeply, bringing comfort and hope.

When I visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the guide told us how the bay was dead from overfishing and pollution, and how people revitalized and protected it so it could thrive again, full of kelp, otters, sea lions, whales and so much beauty. I'm holding onto that story hard to get through today.
