Whenever I work with an editor it eerily goes the same as when I assemble IKEA furniture.

"Done! Phew. That was a lot. What do you think?"
"You put those legs on backwards."
"God. Dammit."

I still get "that's not how you spell satellite". WELL MAYBE EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG yeah sorry I'll fix it.

I'm reminded of a time I was in Turkey (mostly working, but also some touring) and a carpet seller told me, "No. You must not accept this price. We will sit. We will have çay. We will chat and I will show you many carpets. Then I will again show you the one you like and we will haggle."

I think technically she's a kind of Muppet so maybe ask the folks at Sesame Street.
