There we go, review scores are working (at least for the first stage, the prototype), and this completely middle of the road game got me a 6. That seems apt.
The reviewers also now have preferences which are completely opaque, because any time I try to guess someone's taste in games I get it wrong.

One thing I want this project to sometimes capture was the feeling I got in Citizen Sleeper 2, where a day would start and I'd know that I would simply achieve nothing. This, day 1 of a new run, is dedicated solely to fucking around.

Nearly got the last major piece of this game working, where you submit your game for feedback.
Unfortunately I've stuffed up somewhere, so currently only the lowest score is possible, which I guess is realistic in its own way.

The aesthetics remain atrocious, but the "week" system is in place now. At the start of the 5 day week it sets "cards" based on your status, then every day draws three of them to ruin your plans / do nothing.

Progress continues on this time management thingy, it now runs through days properly, and skills and the basics of their leveling works.
There's only really 3 more systems I need to get working before I try to polish up the UI, and see if it actually works as a game.

And some additional "during" photos, as it involved digging into the ground, laying several tonnes of sub base, then 2/3rds as much sand.

The Consumables system now works (though I've only set up one type so far), now I move on to the time progression bit of the time management game.

I cannot believe I made nearly a whole ass game without using set by refs. So many hacky workarounds because I didn't know what it was called and my googling failed me. I think I might be stupid.

Alright, swapping now works within the "day," it won't let you swap a non-evening task into the evening, and with a real bodgy work-around I've got the tooltips working again.

Alright, and that's Victory at the other side of Hades 2. Absolutely brute-forced my way through that final fight. Not an ounce of strategy (labelled as Graphic for Spoilers).

Alright, first victory in Hades 2 (of the full release), my build as a whole didn't really work, but I picked up the Hestia / Aphrodite duo at the very last store, which let me scrape over the line.

Picked up Unfair Flips by selling some more Steam Cards, and I was starting to think that I was cursed by this point.

If there's one thing that's great about there being no expectations for my game it's that my brain can say "hey Sean, you should add a Fairy Codmother" and then I can just do that. A silly bit that only exists to make me laugh.

My success rate of ~one boss per day continues in Silksong with a second banger of a fight in a row. More weird little guys.
