Yes, let's talk about this. Let's talk about everyone who was doing bad shit with Epstein, whatever their political party.
When Lauren refers to Jeffrey Epstein's "entanglements in the Democrat [sic] party," I assume she is talking about that time in 2003 when a Democrat gave Epstein a highly incriminating birthday card. The giver was Donald J. Trump, a Democrat at the time.

This is one of the more ridiculous things I've ever had to read. Thanks, Trumpbama
NEW: The prosecution of James Comey is hanging by a thread, besieged on all sides by challenges to the legitimacy of the prosecutor, the grand jury process and the motives for bringing the case in the first place.

Maybe we aren't responsible enough as people to have pardon power be so blanket then. Maybe we should add this to the list of things we need to fix in our Constitution, after the Menace is no longer in office?

Where are the learning loss people? It’s hard to learn at school if you’re afraid to go because the secret police might kidnap you.
Charlotte-Mecklebburg Schools, according to reports, saw 15% of its students absent today amid Border Patrol operations in Charlotte. If that percentage of 15% happens Tuesday in Wake County due to the Border Patrol coming to Raleigh, 24.000 students could be absent from school. #nced #ncpol #wcpss

Guy: "1 for 25."
Me: "How much for 5?"
Guy: "5 times 25."
Me: "Hah. Love that. You didn't even pause."
Guy: "Ok. 5 for 100"
Me: "How about 3 for 60?"
Guy: "You know what fuck you man."
Me: "Fine, 1 for 25."
Guy: "It's 30 now."

And that's how I negotiated at the bodega to pay $5 more.

So you mean the same way that people who happened to be in a car or house with someone who did something wrong can have their life ruined over it? You know, like the rest of us live? Let me grab my fainting couch, if Vance isn't using it.
Mike Johnson expresses concern that requiring the Epstein files to come out "could ruin the reputations of completely innocent people, such as those who may just have known Epstein but knew nothing of his crimes or whose names he exploited and used to try to get close to his intended victims."

Yes, this is definitely what we all want to do. I just want to negotiate with billion dollar businesses as an individual with absolutely no leverage or power, with most of the protections previously in place for me removed, so that I can (check notes) get worse insurance for more money.
Trump: "THE ONLY HEALTHCARE I'LL SUPPORT OR APPROVE IS SENDING MONEY DIRECTLY BACK TO THE PEOPLE W/ NOTHING GOING TO THE BIG, FAT, RICH INSURANCE COMPANIES, WHO HAVE RIPPED OFF AMERICA LONG ENOUGH. THE PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED TO NEGOTIATE & BUY THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, INSURANCE. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!"

For the love of God people, do not publicly trash your exes. Nothing good ever comes of this. Especially when you're famous. You spent at least some good time with them, presumably. Let the anger out with friends or fam or a therapist, if you gotta. but don't enshrine it online.

Yep. This is genuinely a non-issue, IMO. It's weird to see it blasted across Bluesky, because all it required was watching the actual video to understand the context was completely left out, even without the knowledge that Raskin was way farther out in front on Mamdani than half these folk.
Raskin endorsed Mamdani back in September, and if you watch the video it was an attempt at a joke about MTG rather than a genuine desire to have her as a Dem. But why let facts get in the way of getting mad at the Democratic Party?

Immigrants the administration says they've completely stopped from coming over are bringing diseased cows and raising beef prices. Border Patrol and ICE, despite having significantly more funding, can't identify and catch people with cows. This sounds realistic.

Bessent blames immigrants for high beef prices with bizarre diseased cow claim
Many top economists blame the sharp rise in beef prices on President Donald Trump's widespread tariffs, which have increased the cost of beef imported from Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and Uruguay
