The Silent Star (Kurt Maetzig, 1960). Cheesy, but extremely solid and intelligent space adventure with a multinational cast. Really wild finale with some Mario Bava-esque sets and special effects. Based on a story by Stanislaw Lem!! A fave when it comes to socialist sci-fi :D #filmskya #moviesky

I Watched: O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) The Coen Brothers direct a combo of pastiche on several other classic films and a transposition of The Odyssey to Depression-era Mississippi. George Clooney is doing the Most Acting you will ever see him do. Kind of the best, honestly. #Filmsky 📽️

Greg Jardin's thrilling, fun and funny body swap thriller It's What's Inside doesn't do as good of a job incisively interrogating the implications of its sharp premise as I expected but has a such a blast playing with the human consequences I preferred what I got to what I was expecting.

I'm currently mapping the energy flow around my face and head. The vertical bands actually go down to the base of my spine. The red band is a current of energy that is represented by a halo in paintings of Christian saints. This all part of my work in Experiences With the Energy Body.

Hot Milk: A Foreign Film That Redefines Intimacy

Hot Milk is the kind of film that lingers long after it ends—haunting, poetic, and deeply resonant, like a memory that defies full explanation.

Permanently shadowed craters on Mercury: amazing results!

• Older polar craters host more ice, suggesting steady-state processes drive long-term accumulation.
• Younger radar-bright craters imply recent resurfacing
• Two young, ice-rich craters suggest episodic delivery from comets or asteroids. 🧪

Sinners is still my #1 movie of the year, but it's now tied with #TheLifeOfChuck, Mike Flanagan's incredible adaptation of Stephen King's short story of the same name! A coming of age movie for adults that contains multitudes, see it as soon as you can!
