I must be getting old. I suddenly like marmalade.

I never understood the joke.

But today I was at a sports memorabilia store and they had a painting of Wayne Gretzky by LeRoy Neiman!

So I finally get the joke!

Wait... no I don't. It still makes no sense to me whatsoever. Can anyone explain it to me?

Rarely do you come across a perfect comic, but @chrishallbeck.bsky.social seems to have done it here.

Given all the craziness from our southern neighbours, it's very nice to see our governments promoting vaccinations.

It's what I use to show people what it's like to be colourblind.

The Normal Vision, Deuteranomaly, and Protanopia all look identical to me.

Near as I can tell, the shortest distance across Canada, from Stanley Park in Vancouver to the Cape North Lighthouse at the tip of Cape Breton, is 6255 km.

This morning I just passed that distance with my cycling kilometres so far this year.

Smoking a brisket in an old filing cabinet once again.

It turned out absolutely perfect, as always.

As of this morning, I've biked the equivalent distance of Vancouver to Halifax so far this year.

I am not convinced that Kim Mitchell was *just* doing his rock and roll duty. There's more to this story.

I saw Bobby McFerrin in concert at the Centennial Concert Hall in Winnipeg when I was in grade 10 - either the fall of 1992 or the spring of 1993. I’m pretty certain it was actually Bobby McFerrin & Yo-Yo Ma together in concert.

Does anyone remember if Yo-Yo Ma was really part of that concert?

I'm only 21 pages into Double Cross - the true story of the D-Day spies by Ben MacIntyre, and it is fantastic.

I read another book of his, The Spy and the Traitor - the greatest espionage story of the Cold War, and I couldn't put it down. This guy is an amazing author.
