Salton Sea is a worker placement and resource management game about salt mining. You can buy mining contracts, sell off your yield, and invest in companies. The game really makes you consider your actions and be resourceful. I always felt like I didn't have enough money.

Excellently written and voice acted. The choices feel like they matter and the actual Dispatching is way more strategic than I initially thought. Adhoc really is the spiritual successor of Telltale.

The original Lumines has a special place in my heart but this is probably a better game than that. The final level is a gauntlet but probably one of the coolest things this studio has done.

Probably better than Tsushima and definitely better than AC Shadows. Gorgeous visuals and exploration drive this game/series. And some of that is the best in the industry.

Aeons End. A cooperative deck building game where each player has special abilities and are trying to take down a monster. We lost twice, but put up a valiant effort!

Tend is a resource management "cozy" game where you farm, fish, mine, or chop wood to build resources to earn points. The game really favors you focusing on one specific track because anyone who tried to diversify (like me) ended up doing poorly.

The Old Kings Crown players compete for influence with each having a unique deck with unique abilities. Alot of complexity and very pretty art on the board and the cards.

Fury of Dracula is a fun asynchronous game where one person plays Dracula and others are Hunters trying to kill him. I was Dracula and put up a valiant effort but ended up losing.

There are elements of Ghost of Yotei I find tedious but then the game shows you some of the most gorgeous vistas so effortlessly I have to keep playing.
