Today I tested a digital checkout form and it doesn't allow Japanese nor Chinese characters and made me realize and wonder if there are credit cards with those characters. Surely there are cards with names written in Chinese?? Maybe they can write em in Romanized form?

So my bad news of the day is that I need my left knee replaced - it's pretty much bone on bone, hurts all the time and gives out. I fell down the stairs again yesterday. Scheduled for Feb. if I can make enough $$ to be out of action for over a month :P

I'm of the radical belief that artists should genuinely be kind to each other. Other artists aren't your competition, we don't need rat race mentality bleeding into the art space. We've went through A LOT over the past couple of years already so please treat one another with love and compassion 🫶

Chris here explains my thoughts on reference and tracing pretty clearly in a long thread. Take pics of yourself. Ask friends to pose. Frankenstein photos together. TRACE! Because it's valid and you learn a ton from doing it.

Is there a reference photo app? Like. Use my phone or tablet camera but take photos with a pause of 5 or 10 seconds between them so I can adjust the pose?
Constantly hitting a shutter button with a timer is tiring, racing into a position and trying to adjust quickly. It has to be easier.
