A preview of what this December vote holds….

Only Chuck Schumer is savvy enough to cut a deal where he can lose TWICE!

But don't worry, that's part of the plan to get the people mad enough to rise up on their own against the GOP. Let them take all the risk.

THAT's the only calculus that matters now "Oh, when the Republicans don't pass a deal that covers health care, THEN we'll have them where we want them!"

No, they'll blame the idiots who trusted the Republicans and gave their leverage away to no benefit! You handed them a win, and get a bonus loss!

People were blaming the Republicans for the shutdown. It was hurting them so bad Trump was in a fight with his own people about the filibuster.

Now the shutdown is over with no tangible gains, so the people who suffered for over a month are like, "What was the point of all of that?"

TWICE in the space of a week, Schumer has shown he will defy the will of Democratic voters if it conflicts with his obsolete view of a situation and EVEN IF it hurts Democrats overall.

You can’t ask people to fall in line behind a guy unwilling to take on any discomfort for the cause

Now is EXACTLY the time for internal recriminations.

Because the old fuckers who still think it's 1986 and wax nostaligic about Reagan getting drinks with Tip O'Neill just were not made for these times.

I want Democrats who need google just to get the fucked up spelling of Tip O'Neill's name right.

That's the test - "Spell "Tip O'Neill."

I think all it’ll take is some magic beans, which is even worse

As you said in your article, it’s EVERYWHERE!
