You wouldn’t stand for post-surgical complications caused by negligence, so why should you accept a post-surgery Covid infection?

This is one of the best articles I've read in a long time.

Many don't get the underlying eugenics of the far right (beyond COVID). Read this.
A couple weeks ago, I wrote that the MAHA movement does not want to eliminate chronic illness- it wants to eliminate the chronically ill. Since then, RFK Jr’s actions and statements have only reinforced my belief that his HHS will target disabled and sick ppl.

RFK Jr.'s "MAHA" movement doesn't want to eliminate chronic illness. They want to eliminate the chronically ill.
Public health, modern medicine and disease mitigation will suffer under RFK Jr. because he sees sick people- not sickness- as the problem.

But sniffly-nosed kids have forever infected their teachers and prematurely killed grandparents, you may say—it's natural. Well, there was a time it was considered unremarkable for a teacher to light up a cigarette or pipe during class, too. Or worse…

“Reintroducing free Covid-19 tests (Rapid Antigen Tests)”

Better still, free access to PCR should be reintroduced to screen for asymptomatic infections during outbreaks to mitigate disease spread.
NZ: "A group of New Zealand doctors, teachers, academics and principals are urging the Government to improve air quality in schools and childcare centres to reduce Covid-19 and other air-borne illness."

I'm asking Ontario to be aware of some of the fringe cabinet material you may be voting in with Poilievre: check out Leslyn Lewis (WEF, UN, AfD, Vaccines), Dean Allison (vaccines, ivermectin, AfD), Andrew Lawton (Islamophobia, Pride, Feminazis), Matt Strauss (vaccines), Roman Baber (covid). #cdnpoli

This is my fourth rebuild for this CR box because the ventilation in my classroom isn’t enough on its own to mitigate respiratory pathogens. In fact I use three of these on low speed to keep the volume at a teachable level. My students deserve a safe learning environment.

This is your annual reminder that "Carry Me Home" by Hey Rosetta! is arguably the best modern Christmas song in the last 50 years.

In 1966 at just 12 years old Chanie Wenjack ran away from residential school, then walked for 36 hours before dying of exposure. Chanie’s story, tragically, is just one of 150,000 stories of Indigenous children who were forced to attend residential school.

Today I learned that the Philadelphia Phillies once changed their name to the Blue Jays. A Blue Jay even appeared on their jerseys, but the name was never officially changed.

It makes me wonder if it had stuck, what would the Toronto baseball team be called?

We had to say goodbye to this wonderful old boy in August. Maximilian von Stadt. I was fortunate enough to know him for 17 of his 21 years. Even that seems not long enough. I never thought I would love a cat, but Max had no doubts. His persistent affection won me over.
