Trump came into his second term eager to be tough on protesters, picked a DefSec who would deploy troops against civilians and built a DHS that picked fights with Democrats and the public.
Invoking the Insurrection Act wouldn't be an unfortunate development for him. It would be an intended one.

I'm thinking, as a Minnesotan, that if Trump invokes the Insurrection Act, that we shut the state down.

Everyone stay home.

No open businesses. No stores, no gas, no restaurants for the occupiers. Nobody working in those hotels.

Just a complete statewide strike and shutdown.

Trump threatened to invoke the insurrection act on Minnesota.

These are meaningless threats. The city is already under occupation by federal forces. This is about scaring local electeds into cracking down for him and having preemptive compliance.

Stephen Miller and Trump want conflict and crisis to unleash the Insurrection Act.

It's necessary for martial law, which is the end game.

Everyone who says that is impossible isn't paying attention.

There are people in Minnesota who are violating the law, and it's the people who are flash-banging babies, shooting people who pose no threat, and deploying tear gas against peaceful crowds.

The way to end the violence in Minnesota is for ICE to stop committing violence against Minnesotans.
