Loads of American Robins in our #YYC backyards - the clear skies overnight and the recent cold has motivated their southern movements. Put a water dish out for them and try to reduce window strikes by drawing curtains, moving feeders >10m from house and marking windows etc. #birds

Democrats would have saved Palestinians and released all the students they imprisoned and charged while they were already in power.

For sure this time, voting harder for Harris would've worked, guys. It wasn't her lack of "Biden daylight" that pushed the social liberals and leftists away.

And Todd is right to note (👇) that Louise Glück’s strength as a poet is intensified by her intelligence in organising her work in collections. Within & between her books, mythologising motifs proliferate, play, recur, counterpoint, mutually enrich, complicate & achieve endlessly ponderable depths
since I’ve seen several of her poems shared today, let’s also account for how Louise Glück could really write the hell out of a book, and how putting these poems next to each other is such a powerful “move”

Through use of motifs of religious & classical myth, combined with lacerating self-anatomising & shifts of perspective, register & voice, Glück moved far past what many writers remain, mere confessional versifiers of immediate experience & memory, & left us a body of great, lasting & resonant poetry

Whatever this #Media180FA251D02 tag is, it smells like botted up bullshit.

AI is a tool. As it stands today, it is owned by-and-large by billionaire corpos who use it to "create" slop.

AI only has a future in the hands of grassroots developers, creators, etc.

Otherwise, AI is merely chains.

Looking at the situation in totality, the idea that only ~63,000 Palestinians have died in the 2 year siege of Gaza is outrageous.
