Yesterday I did 3400+ because I had the time & knew I'd be busy most of today. But I did manage to scratch out 700 words after dinner.

But maybe because they are shorts rather than the traditional three-act-novel, I don't have the I'M STARTING TO WRAP THINGS UP LET'S GO energy surge I would usually get. It still feels sloggy. I also have PMS. Probably not a coincidence.

Wow I haven't updated in a while - I had hoped that this microblog of my NaNo would get me to use Bluesky more, but not really. It's been a weird rollercoaster of a week, I was at par and I'm down again, but hopeful for this weekend. :)

I did three pomodoros yesterday, about 2400 words, but I sacrificed a lot of spoons to do it, and today, the creative carafe is completely drained. Did a pomo for 681 words. Should do some more. Really just want to curl up on the couch with my DS tho

*looks out window* well this looks like a good day to hole up at my writing desk, huh? Two poms done this morning, a weirdly round 1660 words. I might take myself off to a cafe this afternoon and attempt another two poms, see if I can dig up out of this hole!

Another 750 words in an afternoon pom brings me to around 2500 and I think that's good for today. I could do more but I don't want to push myself too hard, I'm still kinda under the weather.

No headache today but writing was like pulling teeth anyway: only got about 800 words done. As much fun as I am having on this novelette over all, I might switch to a different story for tomorrow. Give my brain a break and let it do something new.
