Here is the thing: the fact that former soviet states tend to tilt towards rightward authoritarianism (beginning with Russia itself) probably has a lot to do with the fact that they are former Soviet states. But a lot of people don't really consider that.
Not only is he going out of his way to strengthen the European far right, that claim about the Berlin Wall is beyond absurd.
