I was shocked to find this much Antifa propaganda in my local bookstore.
Some of it appeared to even be marketed to children!
@gailsimone.bsky.social and @gwillow.me , How is this okay?

To know why my generation is cynical, remember that one day we're innocently reading a Batman book, and we get this.
Pay calls to vote yea/nay on a teenager to snuff it.
(I only voted once, not enough to save Robin, but did force explanation of a 900# charge on phone bill to incredulous parents)

If I can be permitted the decadence of two replies, I found this book this week, and I'm still agog at the sheer Kirby-ness beauty of it.

I now have to post my favorite piece from solely an anthropological reconstruction perspective: Uncanny 284, signed* by Claremont.
*Well, about the first half of his auto. I can absolutely see someone handing him the book at a convention, him going to sign it, and curmudgeon-ly stopping indignantly

If you look at some of the other footage, it's clear that Shades here has his index finger on the trigger as he's hurling the woman to the ground.
Bad, doubly so with physical altercation / split attention.
You can see a fingertip through the guard, and his index isn't in straight safe position.

This POS has his finger on the trigger. While engaging in a physical confrontation. This is some cartoonish Imperial Stormtroopers level of "bad at this."
Dangerous and Irresponsible as hell. They just don't care.

Today's absolutely amazing find in comic back issue bins.
One of my favorite characters, in full Kirby glory. This cover is art. Hell, there's brilliance to be found in each and every panel.

Calibretto. My autistic brain has always struggled with the idea of being robotic, fearing that I was somehow less human.
Shaurieff's writing of Bretto as souled and caring, even if clockwork, hero helped recognize that being "odd" didn't preclude having empathy and humanity.
(Also, Mad's Art).

The idea of ever holding copies of these, let alone owning them would've blown 8 year old Jeph's mind.
Even 75% of those Kirby covers are works of absolute masterpieces.

My favorite game to play with Transphobes because of the fact that (thanks to fifth-place Gaines) they all suddenly have become experts on women's sports (especially swimming), dropping this, sitting back and enjoying the popcorn.
The "protect women's sports crowd" know nothing about women's sports.

We seriously did not appreciate what we had with Crossgen back in the day. If they'd come around maybe five or six years later, they'd still be a force in the comics industry.
