Stop judging people for needing to go to a food bank. There but for the grace of god go I (and you). We've had some house emergencies and got lucky with timing+ $$$ in our account. Everyone I know is tightening their belts. I'd rather donate $100 to a food bank than go out to a nice meal.

I get a lot of joy out of being a compassionate professor. Helping students improve their writing and knowledge is a blessing.
