Was saying there’s no way that’s a penalty until I saw the bit where he trod on Lucho’s heel/boot. Without that, he doesn’t slip. Bit harsh maybe, but they deserve that because of all their diving and play-acting. Unlucky, dickheads.

All in all, weird half. A bit to frenetic at times but conversely, some of our play was too slow and deliberate. Final ball has let us down too. Quicken it up and be a bit more sharp up top in 2nd half and we should be ok.

Just me that thinks Darwin didn’t do much wrong with either of his chances? I get that he’s polarising but sometimes keepers just make good saves. I don’t think he could have done much more with either chance tbh.

Gordon and Joelinton must have some dirt on PL refs btw. Every foul on Gordon was a yellow card, even when he dived. For the one Trent got booked for, he was a yard offside just before the foul.

I understand the frustration of missing out on another comeback 3-2 win and the associated kick in the danglies to our rivals that it would have been. But aiming vitriol at individual players after we’ve won 18 of our first 21 fixtures of the season is fucking batshit.
