Liverpool til I die. Tory hater. Fool despiser. Gobshite, & sometimes amusing. I swear a lot, & I'm very opinionated. Probably not a good idea to tell me what I can post 👍 Hate writing bio's.
Just 40 minutes in to Frankenstein, & I have to say, it’s absolutely stunning. The care taken in every scene 👌🏻

VAR: Chris, it's Michael. Confirming the on-field decision of offside against Andy Robertson. He is in an offside position, very close to the goalkeeper and makes an obvious movement directly in front of him. Check complete, offside

Utterly fucking bent.

Kelvin MacKenzie is a despicable, lying piece of shit, with zero journalistic integrity. Hillsborough wasn't the only reporting scandal he instigated. His opinion is worthless. Fuck him, and the fucking S*n.

Liverpool fury at 'insulting' BBC Kelvin MacKenzie interview
A Hillsborough survivor described the decision to interview the former Sun editor as an "insult".

And if you want a really interesting & thought provoking thing to watch, watch this. I have many questions…
November 11, 2025 at 1:57 PM
We’ve got 9 league games coming up in which to find a style of play that will work for the rest of the season. Nine winnable games. If we carry on as we are, disjointed, erratic, & disconnected, then even those fixtures will be trouble. Go back to the Madrid template, IMO. Take it from there.
November 11, 2025 at 1:55 PM
If the manager has no plan to beat the opposition, to make it difficult for them, to counter them, you can’t fully blame the players. Having no plan for City overloading central areas with Doku & Cherki was weird.

We basically handed City that win without a fight.
November 11, 2025 at 1:51 PM
And I’m not just going to single out the players, either. Slot had it cracked vs Madrid & decided, for unknown reasons, to make no adjustments for City other than to try to deny Haaland space behind. Other than that, he paid very little attention to what City have been doing with their wide forwards
November 11, 2025 at 1:48 PM
Now, if we can manage that against Real Madrid at home, we can sure as shit at least try to maintain that standard away from home in the league. We are the champions, ffs! Play like it! Be aggressive. Be angry at being written off after 11 fucking games. Show something resembling a Liverpool team.
November 11, 2025 at 1:44 PM
We almost had it cracked against Real Madrid, IMO. We looked like a team again. Players looked comfortable. Players looked keyed in. Certain in their roles. They looked comfortable in what they’d been asked to do. They looked connected as a team. A unit. Compact & decisive.

It worked.

I look at our team, our tactics & our style of football, & I ask myself “what is actually working? Who is playing well?” & apart from Szoboszlai, I can’t think of one player consistently at a good level of performance. I can’t actually see anything that’s working consistently, as a team 😕
November 11, 2025 at 11:56 AM
We have an inconsistent forward line who we don’t create many chances for & who don’t hold the ball up, a midfield that no longer dominates the ball & avoids possession like it’s scared, & a defence which has more lost all confidence in itself.

But, Wirtz is the problem. Fuck off Neville. Dickhead.
November 11, 2025 at 11:50 AM
There are many bigger problems than Wirtz at Liverpool, atm. Our inability to progress the ball regularly, our lack of any control or composure, our inability to deal with anyone who challenges us, our right side is a void, our left side is a confused mess, & our midfield disappearing consistently.
November 11, 2025 at 11:47 AM
Gary Neville, who is a well known fan of all things Liverpool, & wishes us nothing but the best, putting the boot into Wirtz can get in the fucking bin, the disingenuous Manc cunt.
November 11, 2025 at 11:42 AM
City beat us with ease with a midfield of Nico Gonzalez, Bernardo Siva, & Phil Foden, btw. We barely challenged their dominance. We barely even tried.

So, don’t tell me that Wirtz as a 10 is the problem. There are multiple problems, not least our complete lack of having a midfield this season.
November 11, 2025 at 11:37 AM
You could make a fairly long list of things that are wrong with Liverpool, atm. There’s actually more things wrong than right. The only positive I can see is the next 9 league games are “winnable”, at least on paper. 5 at home, 4 away. We need to show vast improvements.

The very fact that Guardiola cut off our left side via the press, & allowed us to play (as much as we could) down the right, tells you all you need to know, unfortunately. A triumvirate of Bradley, Konate, & Grav are not conducive to progression. They are far more likely to cough up possession 😕
November 10, 2025 at 8:54 PM
Further to Greg’s thoughts, I don’t think there’s a solution outside of the transfer windows to come. The complete lack of any change in buildup patterns, with Trent no longer at the club, means we lack deep progression of the ball in the initial phase far too often. We’re too easy to stop.

Interesting thread by Greg, & somewhat mirrors my thoughts, too…
Apologies for inflicting this on y'all, but I need to get it off my chest.
