Who can say what would’ve happened if he had stayed at Liverpool? There’s really no context or point to discussing that, other than to say that we 100% miss his ability on the ball, & we’ve done nothing to mitigate that loss 🤷♂️

I disagree, tbh. If we carry on doing what we are currently doing, we will be lucky to make top 4. Those numbers & everything I see are not top 4 quality.

Complicated. And obviously a minimum wage can be good or bad depending on the cost of things. I’d hazard a guess that most of the western world who are on minimum wage in their particular area are in a constant struggle.

Ah. I forgot the US is a weird place with federal & state differences. Always confuses me, that. So, does each state have its own minimum wage?

I think he doesn’t like it because it means the fullbacks take up different positions too, but have we actually improved in any way by doing what we’ve been doing previously? Call me old fashioned, but I prefer midfielders on the ball making passes to defenders, unless they’re called Trent.

Pity we can’t clone him 😕 But, I think if we play 2 of our CM’s close enough together, it’s enough to help us become unstuck. Slot doesn’t seem to like it because, as you said, it can end up with an error. But, I’d rather go out on our shields, tbh.

We have 9 league games coming up to find some rhythm. We have an opportunity to find some consistency against teams who are not in the top 10. Consistency in selection but also in performance level. We really need to take this chance IMO. It gets hard again in the New Year.
