Following 76 breakfasts served on Monday we hear about the 97 tasty breakfasts served Tuesday. Thanks to the #DoingGood from the Mid counties Coop we also shared out 71 fruit bags and plenty of bread. “Good shift on this cold day thank you team” Jim TL.

Please fight back against this abomination we can’t run our service without refugee volunteers and those on visas or those with indefinite leave to remain WYF.
Plans to leave refugees in a state of perpetual uncertainty about where and if they can rebuild their lives are not just performative cruelty, they are counterproductive to integration and the economy. It doesn’t have to be like this - 1/2

Last night was chilly, so I roasted chicken thighs brushed with the confit garlic oil sprinkled with smoked paprika, cracked black pepper and lemon, with mushroom, leek & pea risotto. Great on a chilly evening #rissotto #chickenrisotto #chillyevening #dinner #home

Team Leader Sam is back from her holidays: "Great shift & lovely to see everyone after having 6 weeks off. We served 84 freshly cooked breakfasts and gave out 47 bags of fresh fruit on what seemed like a slow and steady shift with great atmosphere. We even had some Christmas carol singing 🎵🎶"
