But I think a huge part of the hype bubble still comes from how human its output seems, so it feels magical yet relateable to people.

But that's also just a gut feeling on my end. I can't claim to have any particularly insightful knowledge on this.

My feeling of it right is it's useful but overhyped. Coding with AI is a skill, and there are clearly a lot of devs who are better at it and have a bigger budget to spend on tokens to experiment with it.

I think AI can never win this, because knowing a human wrote the prose gives it some inherent meaning. I think this can to some extent still exist in Ai-generated art, if it's somehow human-curated, but it's not the same.

Niet dat belastingen altijd het antwoord zijn, maar ik vraag me wel al een tijdje af of we geen "noise tax" zouden moeten rekenen bij de verkoop van dit soort machines, om een groter incentive te creëren voor bedrijven om die dingen stiller te maken;
