That is a cat who I do not think should be trifled with.

Someone with a lot of scrambled egg on their hat - an Admiral's daughter perhaps?

Not true!!

ASR perhaps, or the anti-sea mine thing that involved a big ring that acted as an electromagnet that Andy @g7kna.co.uk can probably explain in far better detail than I

To be fair, I'm normally dealing with the deluge of "issues" that professional "drivers" are facing for at least two hours after my alarm sounds at 0530. No names and no pack drill but this morning one of them texted me at 0730 to say he was running late because "he couldn't find his sandwiches..."

It also served in a most useful manner with Coastal Command I think? Or did I just make that up?

So far, she's remained fairly orderly

Subbed and liked already!! I've spotted some potential Hawk footage on there from back in the days when 100 Squadron ☠️ had the RAF Hawk Display tasking

I still remember the first time I heard the extension of the call (Speedbird)on airband for all other (subsonic) BA flights...

"Speedbird CONCORDE 001 you are clear for take off"

Still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up now, and that first time was nearly half a century ago!!

Many thanks my fine chum, I had a quiet but enjoyable day. I hope you are both having a grand time on your holibobs.

My sister, a lifelong lover of Concorde, had never actually seen one in the wild. It bought me great pleasure to remedy that on Tuesday @bristolaero

My life seems to have become a blackness that is punctuated occasionally by fun times with friends, when I feel safe enough to be my genuine self. I don't want pity or sympathy, they are feckless things. I handed my notice in at work a fortnight ago, but I then withdrew it.

And that darkness seems to be worse than ever now. Sometimes it's the silly little things, like sitting at my PC and writing, and at the same time watching my boys and girls at The Boneyard on Flight Radar, doing their thing with their Pirate callsigns. I miss that. I miss The Boneyard.

My mental health has never been my strongest card. When I was younger, I enjoyed the camerarderie of the rugby team. We were the most minor of the minor leagues, but I enjoyed it. We even won sometimes!! But even in my mid 20s I was being medicated for the darkness.

My absolute pleasure, it's looking fabulous!!
