I like Master and Commander as much as the next guy, and am not beholden to familiar names, but putting aside the usual prog-or-not stuff, perhaps the Pfeiffers of the world should consider the possibility that they are not in fact the smartest people in the room and that the Chucks just might be?

I like Master and Commander as much as the next guy, and am not beholden to familiar names, but putting aside the usual prog-or-not stuff, perhaps the Pfeiffers of the world should consider the possibility that they are not in fact the smartest people in the room and that the Chucks just might be?

I get Schatz' point about emphasis (which accepts a self-interested frame that is Reaganite whether or not Clintonian), but I'm not willing to let even a national figure that he isn't deny reality, and insist a winning message can still be built upon a JFK-style project of national interest/service.

I'm partial to its bigger sister, but could be in the market for some new merch out of the most postcard-worthy and in some respects polite corner of the country. Maybe someone - Wyden? - can take a page out of Newsom's playbook?
