México, 9 de enero.- Guadalupe Taddei, consejera presidenta del INE, anunció que habrá una ampliación presupuestal para realizar la elección del Poder Judicial. Lo anterior, después de una reunión en Palacio Nacional con la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum. Aunque no hubo una cifra precisa, se buscarían entre mil a mil 500 mil millones de pesos. En una reunión que duró tres horas, Taddei comentó que le hizo un planteamiento «serio» a Sheinbaum sobre la necesidad de un incremento presupuestal para la elección de jueces, magistrados y ministro. Le detallaron que es necesario incrementar un poco los recursos para el número de casillas que se instalarán en el país, contratación de supervisores electorales, capacitadores, asistentes, y difusión para el personal jurídico y técnico para el tema de los diferentes cómputos del proceso electoral.
