To propose that GenAI can compensate for "archival silences" perverts Trouillot's work. It's is a contradiction to say that a product whose logic exacerbates power imbalances--creating a most-likely guess based on the existing record--can restore absences that are the product of those imbalances.

Antonio José de Paule was a passenger on the Fort de Nantes. He travelled from Mexico to Spain carrying some letters and a golden chain. There are some hints that de Paule might have been a Roma, a group that was theoretically not allowed to migrate to the Americas.

In Lebanon. Can hear the Israeli drone constantly now. I’ve only been back for a day but folks here deal with it 24/7, for months. It’s psychological torture. You can even see it, just flying around. The Israelis want to let everyone know that they can kill whoever they want whenever they want.

En Asturias en el siglo XII no podías comerte una sencilla fabada, con judías y también con chorizo, que lleva pimentón, también de origen americano.
