It's actually a credit to the strength of our civil society that we're not treating ICE officers the way they're asking to be treated on sight.
ICE grabs father by the neck—send him into violent seizure while his arms lock up around his toddler.

"He's having seizure and they're trying to rip the baby out of his hands!"

Agents then handcuff him—before putting in ambulance with his child.

Mother is detained by agents as target of arrest.

This is the third such case I've read of ICE agents in Portland arresting guys with valid work visas and no criminal records, who then disappear into the detention system. I wrote about one last week. He appears to still be in Mississippi as of today reason.com/2025/10/30/a...

Feds also kept a gold chain one of the immigrants had received from his mother, as well as his cell phone.

Trump cut the ribbon at a new Scottish golf course this week.

The White House called it a “working visit," costing taxpayers ~$10M.

Since becoming president, Trump’s reported more income from Scotland than any other foreign country.

Why aren't Medicaid expansion states discussing using AI to quickly simplify all qualification and requalification requirements that will cost 10m people their coverage ?

Why aren't Dems pushing solutions that blunt many of the obstacles introduced to reduce coverage ?

Trump’s 2025 inauguration raised more from $1M+ donors than any previous inauguration raised in total—and set a new record for refunds.

My new analysis with the @brennancenter.org breaks it down and follows the money trails.

The state-run People's Daily, for instance, recently praised DOGE for "confirm[ing] what critics have long argued: The United States is not a beacon of democracy, but a global engine of instability."

To be fair, one man technically does not have this kind of power; he has it only because he has the support of an entire political party and its movement
One man just wiped out $10 trillion in wealth, is destroying centuries-old legal protections, and seems determined to unravel humanity’s greatest public health achievement. In 3 months.

I don’t know how we get out of this. But if we do, one person can never have that kind of power again.
