to elaborate on this, from a classic NLP perspective LLMs are kinda frustrating: take a classic task like "summarization". people who worked on it for a while know that LLMs don't "solve" the issues, they produce OK but not perfect nor even great summaries. BUT,
my current belief is that while thinking of DL in the lens of NLP was expanding, thinking of LLMs with the lens of NLP is mostly limiting.
