It’s not “treachery” for a sovereign country to report factual news about another sovereign country.
The Atlantic suggesting, without evidence, that Canada's Global TV broadcasting the '60 Minutes' segment on CECOT that CBS distributed to it may have been an act of "treachery."

Admitting Ashes watching defeat. Realistically too tired after four 3.30 to 4am starts to stay up for the first session. And very much doubt there’ll be any play in the third.
Of course this hugely increases the chance of some sort of miracle victory whilst I sleep.

It's highly unlikely anyone would be charged with an offence in these circumstances, since they'd have an obvious defence of self-defence etc, unless clear they thought no one was in danger, & had decided to carry out their own execution. Why is the law an ass here?

My least popular (and most correct) view is that cars should be automatically limited to the local speed limit. Put the pedal to the floor and you still can't go over 25mph in a residential area.

(15 in Manhattan btw)
There is no possible justification for limiting e-bikes to 15mph but not cars.

Turns out it was Iran v Egypt, two countries where homosexuality is illegal. Egypt wants Pride banned.
