Fact: The number of federal employees has not increased since the 1960s, despite the population explosion in the US. What impact will destroying our federal workforce have on all the services we count on? #NoDOGE

Watch what they do; not what they say. Trump is focused on jobs and manufacturing? Then why cut funding for women in trades and JobCorps (trade jobs program for at risk youth)?

In my first op-ed for @nytimes.com, I argue that the alliance between Silicon Valley & the US government is a threat to democracy. The Republican tax bill now up in the Senate, which would ban states from regulating AI for a decade, will only cement that trajectory. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/30/o...

Everyone is replaceable. Trump & Musk said it & now CEOs are spreading the word. The idea that wealth trickles down, or that a company w/ an increase in profits hires more workers just isn’t true (we’re looking at you Shopify and Microsoft). Only workers, citizens can hold biz & gov to account.

Let’s tell more stories of how responsible governance can benefit more people and give them increased opportunities, instead of the supposed inevitably of the oligarchs having everything there is

Accepting white South African “refugees” because you want to believe in white persecution and denying real refugees of color who are in actual danger sounds an awful lot like needing a history lesson about the unfounded fear American slaveowners had about a slave rebellion. It led to the KKK & NRA.

Why is this so concerning? Forget the fact that Air Force One is built stateside under incredibly strict security so it can’t be tampered with, it’s also not a gift to the president from a foreign ally, for obvious reasons. Imagine if Clinton had won & then accepted a $400mil personal gift.
Always incredible to see how dumb he thinks we are. #SwampForceOne ✈️

Just to be the numbers guy.

NPR only receives about $5m a year from the Federally funded CPR.
Its the local public radio stations that receive the bulk of the money, which is a paltry $100m when taken against the entire federal budget. That works out to $0.50 per tax payer.
