I know get annoyed that mainstream superhero comics far too often have male characters in skintight lycra with absolutely no discernible crotch bulge, but even I think these chaps from the upcoming Batman Beyond/Static comic need to learn about dance belts or something.

I think i probably need a clear out of the nail polish draw. I know there are some here that are probably past their usage date and a few I bought and almost certainly will never wear again.

Very nice, if slightly rainy, afternoon shopping with the 14 year old. All the presents he needs to buy with me are bought, several present suggestions for him put forward and he was a bad influence on me to buy even more rings.

Fireworks are already going off a lot but the cats don't seem too fussed. That's possibly because the extractor fan in the kitchen is on so they can't hear the fireworks but I'm keeping an eye on them anyway

This is a cat who has had her tea but is also aware that I am in the process of making mashed potatoes and she is demanding her second tea accordingly. Gus was also waiting, but he's a lot more patient about it.

Wearing the Barbarella t-shirt i got in the Seattle science fiction museum at least twenty years ago (if not longer). It's definitely faded and has a few holes in it but it remains one of my favourites (and one of my favourite films too)

Suck My Disco at the Eagle tonight so it's a subtle blue and gold eye look, paired with gold nails, gold Welsh dragon t-shirt, gold Converse and gold glitter in my hair as well (which doesn't really show in photographs)

It's lovely seeing the wrapping starting to come off Manchester Town Hall. Also that ferris wheel is pretty huge.

I'm sure you were all wondering about those cheeseburger pies from Aldi, and today we have et them. Honestly, the pastry was really good, the cheese and burger sauces were pretty good but thr actual burgers were standard supermarket frozen burgers, ie: pretty tasteless.

Another cake throwback to one I made for a work Bake Off at Halloween in 2018. Carrot and ginger cake with decoration made from piped buttercream, jelly sweets (provided by Disneyland Paris because it was our anniversary) and fondant icing. This went viral in China, oddly.

Sudden memories of the husband's birthday cake a few years back. Three layers of chocolate cake sandwiched with chocolate buttercream but the middle layer had the centre removed and filled with thick butterscotch sauce. Tempered (ish...) chocolate coating and mini and regular Rolos on top.
