To be fair to Bones it's not as if Elle was any better, Sellexa was terrible and Tayris had a couple of good jokes that they gave an edit to make them feel like they failed to land. And fuck knows what Catrin thinks she's doing. #DragRaceUK

I love when @blumineck.bsky.social does a particularly thirst-trappy video because they're always slightly silly and undercut the usual masc thirst-trap content while also managing to be absolute thirst-traps (and also usually educational too, which is nice)

While it is true that I've been having a bit of an art block I did actually draw two new #DragPortraits last week at the request of @missmarshamallow.bsky.social - of herself and Amy LaQueefa and now that they've been received (Amy didn't know Marsha had asked me) here they are for all to see.

There are actually a fre very pertinent bits in that BBC article about the trans guidance though that I think might reflect a shift in the way the government are going (based purely on legal issues, not because they're less transphobic).

This is about to become even more of a mess than before, isn't it? Not just the EHRC wilfully misrepresenting what the Supreme Court ruling said, but the suggestion that access to single sex spaces could be done based on how people look is horrific.

I have been very easily distracted this week but I have actually managed to do some drawing tonight even if I haven't done the colours. Getting inks I'm happy with is a win given the last few days though.

If I ever come into vast amounts of money I shall go and buy some Beryl Cook, Mary Blair or Eyvind Earle original art. But i mean *vast* amounts of money, because this background art (and cel overlay) from Sleeping Beauty is a snip at $35,850. Mind you, it is over two foot wide as well.
