Just a reminder that your local library has more than books! Many also have dvds, cds, video games, game systems, internet hot spots, streaming services, ebooks, audio books, park passes, museum passes, and so much more! Maybe it's time for a visit! ❤️📚

It’s notable, but not exactly surprising, that so many* of the supposedly ‘sensible’ Brexiters have turned out to be mad, racist, hideous and/or stupid Farage fans. Montgomerie, a particularly pungent proof of this particular pudding, has been stealing a living for years.

*every single one of them
So, Tim Montgomerie, founder of Conservative Home, defects to Reform.
No shock to me; he bent steadily to the far right from the time I followed him until the time he blocked me for criticising Toby 'dick up your wife's arse' Young.

A mad government would let the water companies carry on their death spiral milking customers to their end.

A sensible government would nationalise them, take on any debt at government borrowing rate, cut bills. Then sell part ownership to the proposed new public mega pension funds at a profit.
Thames Water could incur more than £800mn in interest and other costs on its planned £3bn emergency loan (interest rate 9.75%) that analysts warn will hit customers by depleting cash for key infrastructure improvements
