Every state in the US should stop sending federal taxes to the government and divert them to the state to help recoup the funding denials of the feds. We’re propping up the DHS so they can teargas us. While we pay more for food, health care, medicine etc. If $ is all they care about let’s deny them.

We need a movement within the Democratic Party that coalesces around principles. Every supporter of Momdani should fight with frankness, optimism, and honesty. This would create a third space away from the stink of our two party failure.

So, the D. C. Home Rule statute granted greater self-governance for the city but Trump is using it to justify taking over their law enforcement? I really don’t understand.
