They are arresting people on the streets, terminating their visas, and disappearing them for writing things they disagree with. This is where we are. Two months in. Right now. If you think they won’t begin coming after citizens soon, you are mistaken.

Love this. Seems that folks are conflating “learning” for all sorts of tips, tricks, tools, and data points. It’s dangerous oversimplification. @adamgrant.bsky.social gets it right by describing learning as an always dynamic process with only dependent variables.

It takes curiosity to learn. It takes courage to unlearn.

Learning requires the humility to admit what you don't know today. Unlearning requires the integrity to admit that you were wrong yesterday.

Learning is how you evolve. Unlearning is how you keep up as the world evolves.

Okay yall, week 2 of #curiositytour2025

What are you noticing these days about your daily lived experience?

Let me know in the comments or DM. I’ll report out in a Friday follow up.

Vote with your dollars, too. Let’s be honest, your money will do more in the next few years than your vote did. (I’m making the leap here that y’all didn’t vote for the felon).

We all agree that part of the tactics for this first week of the First Felon was to exhaust us and make us question our own agency, right?

I beg of you, fellow empathetic humans, please notice what brings you back into your own power and do more of that.

I wish people on the left would stop using “diversity hire” or “affirmative action” to describe folks like Hegseth. This reinforces the racist, sexist notion that diversity and affirmative action are promoting unqualified people, doing the right’s work for the.

A functioning opposition party would already be making ads arguing that Trump and his minions are pro-cancer.

Instead, we get conciliatory moves towards cooperation with evil.
NIH is the largest single funder of cancer research in the world. This is already a disaster and we’re on day two.

I’d like to see a little less focus on the future of work, and a little more on the future of life. Are they entangled? Absolutely. But I think we’re confusing means and ends.

Let’s keep connected to our curiosity.
1. Where are you finding catharsis?
2. Where are you finding motivation?
3. Where are you finding direction?

Let me know in comments or DM, and I’ll share out responses from across socials this coming Friday.

Got a beach scene from YouTube on my tv screen, jazz playing, eating mint gelato in an attempt to find small pleasures in this raging shitstorm of #2025

Anyone else feeling exceptionally lazy today and can’t get the potential movie title “Buffalo Noon” out of their head?
Dragging myself to the grocery to do adulting things 🙄

I want to connect with more folks who are seeking personal power (agency), creativity, and healthy engagement this year.

I’m curious, how are yall working through grief these days?

Anyone else feel like a pendulum swinging?
Anyone else trying different approaches just to see which moves us a little bit further along?
Anyone else feel iterative exhaustion?

Hey yall. 2024 was tough. 2025 feels scary. Let’s admit that it’s already been a rough start.

In an effort to remain sane, healthy as possible, engaged but not despaired, I’ve decided to go on a Curiosity Tour for 2025.

Hopefully this signals a shift from thinking AI is a solution and to AI being a tool.

Thank you for reporting on this topic @wired.com

The appetite for AI-derived drivel isn’t as strong as many publishers would have you believe, and demand for quality content is growing.

Don't count out human writers in this AI era.

The language we choose to use designs how we related to something… and how others relate to it.

Call it what it is.

Shoutout to @victorerikray.bsky.social for providing the language of “the company capitulated to a segregationist movement”
