Omg! I am so happy with how this turned out! Now I just need to learn how to do buttonholes! Might have to to a ‘who wore it best’ when I gift it! LOL

I can’t sleep. My heart is heavy tonight. We had to say goodbye unexpectedly to our little Soji cat. She was only 5, tonight she suffered a massive stroke and lost use of her back legs. I’m devastated. She was my little work companion and always sat in on my zoom calls. We will miss you Soji 😭

Look what I thrifted this weekend!!! These fabrics were $3.50 and $6! The second one is a huge bolt! Also, this sweeeeeeet embroidery kit for while I’m watching tv. @integrity.bsky.social goodwill for the win!!!

Look what I made! So, I guess I’m a quilter now??!! I just need to put the batting and backing on :) not too bad considering I hadn’t touched a sewing machine since jr high!

I absolutely will! I have to finish the toddler Toy Story quilt first, I haven’t sewn since Jr High, so I think so far it’s a valiant effort! This is just the first row but I’m actually about half done the other rows.
