You’re absolutely right, Aardam. The GOP has basically delivered the country to Putin, and U.S. allies know it. Trust is gone. If the U.S. keeps the reserve currency, it’ll be by pure luck, not competence.

The reason for fatalism is the entire world now knows we are always going to be one election cycle from insanity. They will never trust us to honor our commitments again, and if we manage to hold on to the worlds reserve currency, we will have dodged a mortal bullet.

I've been yelling about this & feel no one is listening. U.S. border allow themselves to operate up to 100 miles (160km) from any intl boundaries (they consider airports to count). It's supposed to be only on the U.S. side but they're changing the rules & won't stop if we don't make a stand.
