Doug Ford is one vote away from passing laws that will hurt renters, silence parents, cut student services students actually need, and privatize our water. Imagine losing your say in your kids' school. Imagine facing an eviction you can't fight. Imagine students losing access to food banks and mental health supports. That's what's at stake. Doug Ford shut down debate on Bill 60 and Bill 33 because he didn't want to hear from the people these laws will hurt. That's why we held The People's Forum last Friday - to give people the voice he denied them. Now we need to make sure MPPs hear from you. Go to OntarioNDP.ca/stop-the-attack right now. Email your MPP. Then share this with 5 friends. Doug Ford is counting on us not paying attention. Let's prove him wrong.

This is Alice's friend Sandy Ho, posting. Per Alice's wishes, this message is being shared at the time of her passing. Hi everyone, it looks like I ran out of time. I have so many dreams that I wanted to fulfill and plans to create new stories for you. There are a few in progress that might come to fruition in a few years if things work out. I did not ever imagine I would live to this age and end up a writer, editor, activist, and more. As a kid riddled with insecurity and internalized ableism, I could not see a path forward. It was thanks to friendships and some great teachers who believed in me that I was able to fight my way out of miserable situations into a place where I finally felt comfortable in my skin. We need more stories about us and our culture. You all, we all, deserve the everything and more in such a hostile, ableist environment. Our wisdom is incisive and unflinching. I'm honored to be your ancestor and believe disabled oracles like us will light the way to the future. Don't let the bastards grind you down. I love you all.

Immunizations for high-risk and priority groups will begin in phases: • COVID-19 vaccines will be available starting the week of September 22 • Flu vaccines will be available starting the week of September 29 The initial supply of flu and COVID-19 vaccines in September and October will be available for high-risk and priority groups who live, work or study in Ontario, including: • Hospitalized patients • Hospital staff settings • Individuals aged 65 and older • Residents and staff in long-term care homes, retirement homes and other congregate Starting the week of September 22, Ontario residents aged 60 to 74 who meet certain high-risk criteria or live in specific higher-risk settings, as well as those aged 75 and older, are eligible to receive RSV vaccines, Abrysvo® or Arexvy, as part of the province's recent expansion to the adult RSV prevention program. Starting October 1, eligible newborns and infants up to eight months of age in their first RSV season and high-risk children up to 24 months of age in their second RSV season can receive the Beyfortus® immunization. Pregnant women also have the option to receive the RSV vaccine Abrysvo® which can help protect infants at birth. Starting October 27, free flu and COVID-19 shots will be available to the general public at participating pharmacies, some public health units and participating doctor and nurse practitioner offices

sloane (sipihkopiyesis) ® @cottoncandaddy I just learned that if a hermit crab finds a new shell that is too big it will wait for other hermit crabs who need new shells to gather and then they will organize themselves by size and trade shells and I am pissed that the crabs have a better housing market than we do
