Great not only to have the work we're doing on HLH included in today's conference for the release of the #MBRRACEUK report on UK maternal mortality, but to also see another presentation on this topic. Is HLH as rare as we think, or simply rarely diagnosed?

- these are recognised sex specific risk modifiers in the general pop., now incorporated into the ESC hypertension guidelines (see pic) & it would be great to confirm if its also the case in RA. This is a female predominant disease, and existing CVD risk scores underperform in females & in RA.

Great to see the new RCOG sepsis green top guideline is out - covering pregnancy & postpartum with an excellent exploration of bacterial sepsis through to disseminated HSV & touching on non-infectious causes such as HLH 👏
