This whole thread explains something that I've been mulling over for some time -- specifically, why so many people would choose to elect a criminal for their leader. Thanks to @resistrebelrevolt.net for laying it out so eloquently.
Earlier I distinguished the difference between socialism & social democracies (nordic capitalism). Someone asked me why socialism is bad.

In good faith I answered with this thread: 🧵👇

Then they blocked me. 🥸

I wonder if this was a block-worthy assessment of socialism. 🤷‍♀️

This is fascinating and makes me, an immunocompromised person, very glad I do not have tattoos.
“…in a vaccine-specific manner, with a reduced response to the COVID-19 vaccine and an enhanced response to the UV-inactivated influenza vaccine, reflecting differences in the mechanisms of action between these vaccine classes.”

If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.

Have you checked out your local www.freecycle.org group?

A few years back my daughter was a big fan of baking and we were making new recipes every weekend. Someone was downsizing and gave us a huge box of baking sheets, pans, & molds that were barely used. You can make requests too.

3/ Public empowerment is important, folks. Reducing the amount of respiratory aerosol particles you inhale in shared spaces will dramatically reduce your risk of infection. Increase ventilation when possible, wear an N95, KN95 or better mask/respirator in shared public spaces, improve filtration.

Read it! The Times is a piece of sh*t.
This is a scorching article on the absolute state of The New York Times, and much of the rest of the media.
Not just the billionaire media, note, but also the billionaire-*compliant* media, which both-sides every issue with purchased junktank talking points.

Mayor Mamdani redefines what it means to hope
His victory has created a harsh contrast between the world we want and the world we have.

Dear Washington Post, I think there's a typo where you typed "Mamdani" instead of "Trump".
See: ruining research and development, hampering emergency response, burdening Americans with excessive tariffs, disrupting auto industry and tourism, driving away trading partners, etc.
