Musk should be asked about this in every interview he does now and forever. To ignore it is a dereliction of duty.

🤦🏽‍♀️ The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has now set its sights on cutting foreign subawards, with a new policy effective immediately.

🚨 NIH issued a major update yesterday.

🚦Foreign sub-awards can no longer be included under parent NIH awards starting September 30, 2025.

💔💔💔 How do the people from this administration sleep at night?

“The researchers from Oxford University and elsewhere found that half a million additional children will die of AIDS in the next 5 years in sub-Saharan Africa and nearly 3 million more African children will be orphaned by AIDS.”
"It's now been eight days since both Dorcas and her mom, Theresa, took the last of their HIV medications.

A single mom and an only child, they've always taken their medicine together at 8 p.m. each night. The change in routine has confused the little girl."

Hopefully this never passes, but here's the NIH-relevant section from Trump's leaked HHS restructuring budget proposal, showing which institutes end up where. Later they note a 15% cap on indirect costs. The full document is a depressing read.

Good to see Rutgers and Georgetown supporting this effort.

Lots of liberal arts colleges and Catholic universities.

Ivies remain AWOL. Embarrassing.

in case you're wondering, "what's the harm in claiming an extinct species has been brought back from the dead" when it most certainly has not, our interior secretary is already using it to justify taking animals off the endangered species list

I went to a tuberculosis event in Philly since the NYC one was sold out and joked to my husband beforehand that the audience would probably do the E-A-G-L-E-S chant and THEY ACTUALLY DID. @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social

They want the unreviewable power to grab people and render them to a foreign gulag.
If the Supreme Court ultimately agrees with what the gov't is arguing today, that the President has broad Article II powers that would permit it to deport people & there can be no judicial review, then literally no one is safe.

Per Dr Atul Gawande, ex USAID: “All malaria supplies protecting 53 million people, mostly children, including bed nets, diagnostics, preventive drugs, and treatments – terminated.”

There are no words that sufficiently describe this level of cruelty and sadism.
