In retrospect it’s funny so many hardcore old FPS players could now hold a grudge against Half-Life because it shares a lot more in common with Build engine games than a lot of games which would follow.

The first flavored Dorito was/is taco and whenever they bring it back it’s in a retro bag so that gets my vote (also they taste great.)

I’m the type who always wants to customize my character even if it’s shades of olive drab, black, and beige so a relatively robust soldier dress up system would be ideal for Battlefield IMO. Plus it gives players one more nonsense thing to grind levels over.

I think Battlefield 5 let you accessorize your characters to a certain extent but 2042 had set skins because they were going for a hero shooter thing and now BF6 is the same with ALL of the character, just every drop of style, removed.
