At the RenFaire this weekend, someone got hurt badly in a black powder explosion. A rumor said they got their hand blown off. And less than 24 hours later there were jokes about it on Facebook. I think this is terrible, both the accident and the reaction.

I've heard multiple people say that Rust makes you a better programmer in other programming languages. And I don't think that's true, it makes me an angrier programmer in other programming languages.
