The black and white photo is absolutely sending me. It screams 14 yo plans there first situation room.
They’ve got Twitter up on the big screens in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago makeshift “situation room.”

One of the nice things about Christmas is that after a deluge of new books for the children there is a short break from reading the same book for the 50th time. A small thing that improves bedtime immeasurably.

Holy moly, silksong is good. Everytime I pick it up something interesting and surprising happens. Really does push beyond what hollow knight did.

Quite nice when there is so much unrelenting bleakness in the news everywhere of the joy a Hollow Knight Silksong release date is generating. Cute bugs for the win.

Billionaire developer Asif Aziz is one of London's most powerful and influential landowners.

In my latest investigation for @londonermag.bsky.social I found out how he has brought and shut down dozens of London pubs for redevelopment.

It seems so typical of British politics (particularly in light of Canadian and now Australian elections) that after 14 years we get rid of rubbish right wing party for them simply to be replaced by an even worse even righter party. Can we not just have a break from the misery?

Well if literally nothing else Clair Obscur has one of the best in medias res openings I've played in a very long time. High hopes for this one!

So let’s have a little look at the Right wing media feeding off its own ecosystem.

Here’s

claiming NET ZERO caused the Heathrow shut down, while sharing a Telegraph article that appears to back up his claim

Must be true then, right??

I think we should take this story from the Times today (and picked up by many other outlets) with an enormous pinch of salt for two reason (mini thread):

I'm enjoying Nine Sols but it really wouldn't be any worse if it were a teeny bit less hard (and frustrating).

One comparison I haven't seen with the US election is Tory 2019 election. À la Trump Boris remade the Cons in his image, built a wide but ultimately fragile electoral coalition while his mendacity was his downfall both practically and for his party in completely under-delivering on their promises.

I know everyone needs to cope in their own way but everyone claiming that last night's news means this or that for how labour will respond to domestic policy questions need to calm down. American and UK electorates are not the same!

This is the kind of anonymous opinion I can get behind
Unless it's packing some Harrier-level VTOL technology to to back it up, Thunderbird 2 does not have the wingspan to generate enough lift for it to remain in flight. I doubt that dropping its entire midsection does the aerodynamics any wonders either.
