I think life would be more magical if we had more Oompa Loompa songs when people mess up.

I needed some new business cards for conventions, so I finally took the plunge and made a Linktree account. I'm still filling in some of the details in the shop, so come back occasionally to see what's here.

"Virtuosa" Day 25 - 53,770 words: At 27 chapters long, I wrote "The End" on this year's project tonight. To give a sense of the scale of this project, here's the Table of Contents that shows the locations and dates for each chapter. Now, to rest.

"Virtuosa" Day 24 - 51,807 words: It still feels weird to be writing this late into November, but I'm on track to finish by tomorrow. The secondary goal is usually to get the whole plot in before Thanksgiving, and I'll just make it this year.

Good thing he didn't say instant pot.

"Virtuosa" Day 23 - 50,075 words: A day slower than last year getting to 50k (a steady decline for 4 years). But I'm proud that I could get there on my own terms (usually ~2 hours writing each night). Two more chapters left in this plot, so I'll be done with the story by Thanksgiving.

"Virtuosa" Day 22 - 48,096 words: As I'm now ~1 day of writing away from my 50,000-word goal, I re-assessed some chapters I wanted to write and will combine some for brevity. Still, an interesting chapter to write tonight that speculates on what happened between Clara and Brahms after Robert died.

"Virtuosa" Day 21 - 46,289 words: The muse was on fire tonight for an emotional section of text. Wrote two chapters this evening for my second-best word count for Nov. 21st (best so far for this year).

"Virtuosa" Day 20 - 42,354 words: A pivotal scene today as I finish Act II with my 3rd best single-day word count for the month. Amusingly enough, the events from the last few chapters that were the best documented were also the easiest to write.

"Virtuosa" Day 19 - 39,797 words: A pretty good night now that I'm recovered from yesterday. Made easier by the addition of Johannes Brahms to the mix (their first meeting was fairly well documented).

"Virtuosa" Day 18 - 37,709 words: Nothing written today since I got a bad headache this evening and couldn't focus enough to write. At least I'm far enough ahead that it shouldn't ultimately matter. See you all tomorrow!

"Virtuosa" Day 17 - 37,709 words: Another great "planned" chapter from historic events in Clara Schumann's life (May Uprising in Dresden), but I also realized there's a chapter coming up that I can cut because I'm already ahead on word count and it wouldn't have added anything to her story.

"Virtuosa" Day 16 - 35,648 words: You all can't ever know how much I resisted writing "SCHUMANN PUUUUUNCH!" in this chapter. Maybe I'll include it when it's adapted into an anime...

"Virtuosa" Day 15 - 33,586 words: Lots of great description in tonight's chapter, which made the words flow easily. If anything, one of the things I want to get across in this book is what it sometimes looks like to live with someone who has a mental illness like depression.
