I genuinely feel sick after watching that presser & not in a ‘Trump was rude, pass the smelling salts’ way or even shock that you’d publicly bully a wartime leader like that. It’s the utter narcissism. Trump could literally start WW3 because he feels his ego hasn’t been sufficiently stroked.

A lot of this is that these chains have been phoning it in for years. People will choose another option, because there’s nothing inspiring or interesting on offer - it becomes almost the default to discount them when choosing somewhere to go, because why would they be at the front of your mind?
It’s been a rocky year for the type of restaurant that served as the setting for awkward lunch scenes in The Office, for the mall spots serving up giant bowls of pasta and sugary drinks.
