Artist and Attorney in Enid, OK. Founder of Itinerant Immersive, building traveling immersive art installations.
Hey Oklahoma City friends! My traveling immersive art installation is coming to your fine city this weekend. I’ve spent the last three years working on this, and although we’ve shown it in Enid and Ponca City, OKC is a huge milestone. We’ll be downtown at Lively Beerworks through the end of August!

I hope Samuel L. Jackson kept the costume and spends the next four years trolling at congressional hearings and Republican fundraisers.

Hey look! It’s me!
A former Enid City Commissioner has launched an immersive art project: the Cicada.

The work is designed as an abandoned spaceship that tells the story of a missing crew. KOSU's Luisa Clausen stopped by to check it out.

Cicada art installation invades Enid before touching down in Ponca City
For Ben Ezzell, art cannot be confined to a simple definition or even a single place.

Anyone heard of Oklahoma Citizens Participation Act? Enacted in 2014, it protects from defamation suit brought for political speech. Instead of trial on 1A grounds, Motion to Dismiss can be filed at outset. I got one dismissed, now on appeal, I think we’ll still win. A useful tool these days!

ICE has anonymous tip site, one could (hypothetically) report immigrants gathering at country club, private religious school, steakhouse, or other white (R) coded spots. I would NEVER suggest violating 18 USC §1001 by making false reports to waste their time.

Unrelated, any VPN recommendations?

I’ve been making a bunch of silly short videos to advertise the art installation. I think this one is my favorite.

I’m working at the art installation tonight, there is a family of four here at the moment, and the three-ish year old keeps saying SOMETHING about the spaceship, but neither her parents or I can figure out what it is. Doesn’t make it any less adorable, but I do wish I knew what she was saying.
