Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

We’re going to face an exhausting train of outrages, but it’s impossible to overstate how obscene and dangerous this is. Trump whipped up a violent mob to assault Capitol police, and has now declared that violence on his behalf is immune from legal punishment.

The opponents of birthright citizenship are liars. They have no good arguments. They hate Reconstruction and want to destroy its greatest achievements. Say that. Act like that.

FFS “vaccine skeptic” is not a real thing and even if we are being extraordinarily generous and using us for people with genuine fear or lack of information, RFK jr doesn’t qualify. He is this country’s most prominent anti-vaccination activist, with a sizable death toll to his name.

In these dark days one of the things making me laugh is our puppy, who sleeps like she is dead and/or can be won in a carnival game.
