Anyone with a functioning cortex will agree with Macron about Brexit.
We were sold a lie and what has happened since is the exact opposite of what was promised.
One would hope the UK government approve of his comments.

Why do some people on here think it's ok to DM people for no good reason? "Hi, how are you? Where are you from?"

I came here to escape the headbangers on X, only to find that they're here too, sadly.

I'm a Labour voter & supporter. I should have the right to express my views in support of Starmer without being interrogated, bullied and told how much more can I put up with etc. Block me if you're not happy.

AI is billed as another Gutenberg revolution. But maybe in reverse. Mass production of books led to the rise of literacy, the Enlightenment and decentralisation of knowledge away from a priestly elite. But Big Tech threatens to recentralise knowledge - the Dark Enlightenment

The Cowardice of Senate Republicans
In 2021, ten of my Republican colleagues in the House joined me in voting to impeach Donald Trump after he incited an attack on our democracy.

Hard to keep up...

...but it seems in an afternoon Donald Trump is willing to:

- Give up Crimea and occupied Donbas on Kyiv's behalf
- Deny Ukraine Nato membership
- Demand Europe 100k provide peace keepers
- Rehabilitate Putin, though he invaded

+ De-emphasise US defence of Europe

After years of neglect, Labour announce a record investment of £2.65bn to build new flood defence and maintain existing ones.

Over 1000 projects will be helped, protecting 66,000 homes from flooding.

It won't fix everything over night, but it's a step in the right direction to undo Tory damage.

I'm starting this thread to document as many awful things Trump and his cronies are doing with links - as well as examples of those standing up to hate.

I'll keep updating in the comments as an easy reference point for myself and others. Starting with...

My new poem
January 26, 2025 at 8:04 PM

And how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind

January 6th insurrectionists given a full pardon is the most heinous act #Trump has done.
These violent, vicious and criminal people who attacked American democracy and caused the death of several people incited by a deranged President should have served their full term.

For the #Southport murders, no one is to blame but the perpetrator and various agencies who failed to act when the signs were clear.

For the riots, no one is to blame but misinformation on social media & far-right groups jumping on the bandwagon of bashing anyone who is of a dark complexion.

Trump literally leaving his supporters out in the cold while he and his billionaire buddies stay warm and cozy inside is the most Trumpian thing in the history of Trump.

I didn't see. I'm not watching any TV, not done for some time.
I see & hear no BBC output, other than what's shared on here.

How often did the tories break the MC though? Almost on a daily basis. They need to shut up. Our media is ruined.
