American gun fan logic: we need guns to protect ourselves from people who don’t like guns.

They said they wanted guns to keep their freedoms. Turns out if you let them keep their guns, you can just take their freedoms

Dorothy: You’re telling me NOW??

So it turns out that the “checks and balances” of the US constitution are just suggestions. If you’re the President, you can ignore them with impunity. Who knew?

When we talk about the 80’s in 2025, it’s the same as people in 1985 talking about the 1940’s.

Sean Combs has been found to have committed sexual offenses against women.

This makes him eligible to be the GOP's next candidate for president.

You can’t rely on the government to protect you from terrorists when they ARE the terrorists.

We’re only half way through his first year. It’s gonna be a long and painful three and a half years. And that’s assuming he leaves!

Yeah Biden was old. But can you imagine Trump riding a bike? Like, not just as an old man, but at any point in his life?

Well it’s another day watching the slow descent of America into fascism, led by a man who can’t spell it.

Look, we need to be serious here. We are talking about a country led by jingonistic religious fanatics that are obsessed with demonstrating their military might. They even make school kids pledge allegiance to the flag every morning and... hang on someone just handed me some notes.

No fear, Trump will end the Israel-Iran conflict with the same diplomatic skills he brought to the Russia-Ukraine war.

For decades the NRA and other gun nuts told us that their guns were to protect us all from a tyrannical government. So a tyrannical government is here, they are all sitting on their asses, and the people who want gun control have taken to the streets to defy the tyrannical government instead.

Oh, if only Merz had innocently replied, “What do you mean, Mr President?” Watching Trump squirm would have been delicious.
MERZ: Tomorrow is the D Day anniversary, when the Americans ended a war in Europe

TRUMP: That was not a pleasant day for you? This is not a great day

MERZ: This was the liberation of my country from Nazi dictatorship

American mainstream media is still blathering about Biden’s mental health “coverup” even though the CURRENT president is spewing destructive gibberish every single day. Why? Because letting the GOP control the narrative is EASIER than taking on Trump and his mob. Cowards.

I keep reading about certain movies premiering at Cannes getting standing ovations of 5, 10, even 20 minutes. I’m calling bullshit. There’s no way any movie audience stands and claps for even 2 minutes never mind 5, 10, or 20 minutes. Prove me wrong. Send me there to investigate. Economy is ok.

If Trump has taught us anything, it’s that there are zero consequences to lying in politics, no matter how big or how frequent the lies. Yes, politicians have always played fast and loose with the truth, but usually when they told obvious, blatant lies, it would be scandalous. Now it’s normal.
